Our delivery options are customized to the customer. We can package and ship the way that works best based on quantity and preference.
We take great care when packaging your product because your PCB boards are our responsibility until they arrive on your doorstep.
Packing a PCB requires careful attention because the electronic components aren’t rugged enough to survive getting tossed about and dropped—or squashed. Your package must also be protected from electrostatic damage (ESD causes component failure) and moisture penetration.
Based on your order, MIS will use a combination of anti-static pink poly bubble wrap, a sealed moisture barrier bag, desiccant (a drying agent in a porous pouch)—even vacuum-sealed packaging!—along anti-vibration padding. We then trust your printed circuit boards only with a reputable courier, delivered safe and sound.
Apart from a brilliantly-assembled PCB stack, we put your documentation in the package. A comprehensive printed circuit assembly document package typically includes the following:
- Bill of Materials (BOM)
- Approved Vendor List (AVL)
- PCB Gerber data (All layers, Drill files, Aperture files)
- CAD data (ODB++ for example)
- Centroid file
- PCB schematic(s)
- PCB fabrication drawing and notes
- Assembly drawing(s)
- Test specifications (ICT, Functional, ESS, Hi-Pot, etc.)
- Quality specifications
- Regulatory (UL, TUV, etc.) requirements
MIS Electronics saves the planet one and electronic component at a time.
We purchase electronic waste, including PCBs, circuit boards, laboratory cards, computer plugs, electronic components, chips, EPROMs, ICs, processors, relays, reed switches, contact rivets, disk drives, hard drives, mains adapters, as well as any production residues from the PCB and electronics industry containing precious metals.
Deliver it in person or ship it to us.
Call to make an appointment then deliver the materials to our drop-off center or ship it using a courier or postal service. Large quantity? No problem. We’ll send our preferred carrier to pick it up from your home or company. In this case, we’ll need a weight estimate and the number of pallets or crates required.
Once at our facility, we’ll weigh it and sort it to calculate the purchase price (paid by cash, cheque, or etransfer).
